Heather & Matt’s Wedding – Stowe, Vermont

September 16th, 2011

Heather and Matt were married at the Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. It was a beautiful weekend for weather and we took advantage of the gorgeous views from the golf course for some portraits before the wedding (and I got to drive a golf cart for the first time!)

Molly and Matthew’s Wedding – Charlotte and Shelburne, Vermont

September 8th, 2011

Molly and Matt’s wedding ceremony was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Charlotte, Vermont with a reception nearby at All Souls Interfaith. The weather was perfect and I can’t think of a better place to see the sunset than All Souls. I am glad I was there to catch the last dance of the night, when one of the groomsmen joined the band (Shakedown) to sing a memorable rendition of Prince’s Purple Rain. Molly and Matt took off for an adventure in Turkey the day after their wedding.

Allison’s Bat Mitzvah – South Burlington, Vermont

October 22nd, 2010

I photographed Allison’s Bat Mitzvah a few weeks ago in South Burlington, Vermont.  I took some pictures at Temple Sinai in the morning before the ceremony (no photography allowed during the ceremony), and then returned to photograph the reception that night at Vermont National Country Club.

Many of Allison’s family, friends and neighbors came out to celebrate that evening.  There was plenty of energy on the dance floor before, during, and after dinner and the DJ Mike from (what company?  help me out in the comments?) worked as hard as I have ever seen a DJ work to keep the young people entertained.  There were contests, party hats, silly sunglasses, glow sticks, hula hoops, and giant feet.   Definitely a lot of fun moments to photograph!
