Adrianne was sporting a secret Red Sox garter for Matthew during their ceremony at Log Haven in the mountains east of Salt Lake City, Utah. The long nights of July are perfect for a reception out on the patio at Log Haven and Mill Creek Canyon is a great place to escape the heat of the valley. I also photographed Adrianne’s sister Whitney’s wedding to Ross a few years ago, and it is always so fun to do pictures for the same family again!

Stacey and Josh were married at the Lakeside Meadow at Log Haven, in Mill Creek Canyon east of Salt Lake City, Utah. They were both were both on cloud nine before the ceremony; I had to show them a picture on my lcd screen to prove to them that it was actually happening! They were also really excited about their photography.

The meadow looked fantastic in all of it’s green summer glory. After the ceremony, everyone headed down the canyon to The Market Street Grill in Cottonwood Heights for the reception.

I loved the outdoor patio at the Market Street Grill – it was a perfect spot for a party on this mild summer evening. Stacey and Josh’s first dance was timed just right for the twilight. I was lucky to have Erin helping me out as a second shooter.

Megan and Mike had a daytime wedding at Log Haven up in Mill Creek Canyon, with a rehearsal dinner at La Caille the night before. Prints are available here.

It was a gorgeous sunny day up in Mill Creek Canyon. I was lucky to have Erin second shooting for me, which is the next best thing to being in two places at once! Everyone had a great time – especially Megan and Mike. I have said this before, but I think Faith and Joni, the wedding coordinators at Log Haven, do an awesome job at making sure you have a good time at your wedding. All the details are taken care of – I think that makes a big difference!

Megan, Mike and I went up into the woods behind Log Haven for a few more portraits after the reception, and we finished up the day with milk shakes at Shivers! Shivers is a favorite spot for Megan and Mike after hikes in Mill Creek Canyon. I had the Black Raspberry – delicious!
