I travelled all the way to England to photograph Caroline and Justin’s wedding in South Stoke, West Sussex. They found an amazing venue for their wedding and put a lot of work into creating a magical day for all of us who were lucky enough to be there. The blessing ceremony was held in St. Leonard’s church, which I was told was built in 1082 AD with the reception following in a nearby barn.

I spent a few days in New York visiting friends and getting my culture fix before photographing Beth and Mike’s wedding a few weeks ago. Justin is an old friend who was in my wife Leah’s medical school class so I spent one night at the apartment he shares with Caroline in Harlem and we did an “engagement” session the next morning around town. Caroline and Justin are actually already legally married after a very brief ceremony at city hall this October, but I will be photographing their wedding (officially a blessing) in a little 14th century church in England this spring (2011 is shaping up to be a good year!) We started at Lincoln Center and then made our way down to breakfast at Cafe Gitane, and finished the shoot over in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at the Hotel Delmano.
