I photographed Rachel’s Bat Mitzvah in Burlington, Vermont recently. I photographed Rachel’s sister Allison’s Bat Mitzvah about a year and a half ago, so it was fun to come back and see her family again. The reception was held at Burlington Country Club on a gorgeous day that was capped off with the Supermoon! (photo below)

I photographed Allison’s Bat Mitzvah a few weeks ago in South Burlington, Vermont. I took some pictures at Temple Sinai in the morning before the ceremony (no photography allowed during the ceremony), and then returned to photograph the reception that night at Vermont National Country Club.
Many of Allison’s family, friends and neighbors came out to celebrate that evening. There was plenty of energy on the dance floor before, during, and after dinner and the DJ Mike from (what company? help me out in the comments?) worked as hard as I have ever seen a DJ work to keep the young people entertained. There were contests, party hats, silly sunglasses, glow sticks, hula hoops, and giant feet. Definitely a lot of fun moments to photograph!
