Cindy and Sunny celebrated their wedding on Mercer Island, just east of Seattle. The ceremony took place at Luther Burbank Park with a reception at the Mercer Island Community Center.

Hi Don, good question. I sometimes like to use long exposures for scene setting shots like this. In this case the exposure was 30 seconds, which required the use of a very strong neutral density filter (like a sunglass lens for the camera) to cut down the amount of light entering the camera. People tend to move around a lot in 30 seconds even while standing still. For me using this motion blur brings out the people interacting with the space more than drawing your attention to expressions and gestures on individuals in the picture.
