I visited my friends Carissa and Ben and met their nine month old son Ryan for the first time a few weeks ago. I think it was a great time to get some pictures of Ryan as he is very engaged and interested in everything, but not yet able to run away! I love the range of emotions in the sequence below:
Ryan enjoys operating doors, receiving silly farting noises, and being inverted, among other things.
I had a great time photographing Jessica and Michael’s wedding at The Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah. Michael and many of his guests started the day by doing some curling at the Park City Ice Arena.
A short thunderstorm interrupted the time we had set aside for portraits, but after the rain stopped the storm clouds were beautiful! The sun came out again for the ceremony on the deck at Stein Eriksen. The beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements are from Stella Posy.
The Stein Eriksen Lodge’s pastry chef made a spectacular cake modeled after Santinori, Greece, where Jessica and Michael got engaged.
The Joe Muscalino Band entertained the guests on the dance floor all night.

Melissa and Matt were married at the All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne, Vermont. All souls has amazing views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks, and the weather on the wedding day was perfect for enjoying them.
Melissa and Matt put their own sweet twist on a wedding tradition with a private garter removal during their portrait session.
The timing was just right to get outside for some pictures in the setting sun – what a beautiful landscape! Melissa and Matt enjoyed a little break from the reception out on the lawn.

Meredith and Tom’s wedding was held at The Canyons in Park City, Utah, up on the mountain at the Red Pine Lodge. It was a beautiful sunny day, nice and warm after a few weeks of cool weather in Utah. Meredith and Tom saw each other before the wedding and we took some pictures in the aspen forest right next to the Lodge – the aspens make a beautiful backdrop with the sun shining through.
